The Colombo High Court has today(21) granted bail to former Additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage after he appeared before the court today on the charges of keeping an elephant calf ilegally in his possession without a valid permit.The former Additional Magistrate has appeared before Court following a revised application filed by Colombo High Court under the advise of Attorney General by seeking to annul the Nugegoda Magistrate's bail order on the former Magistrate.
Thilina Gamage who was surrendered to the Nugegoda Magistrate Court on 02nd of June over the charges of keeping an elephant calf ilegally in his possession was granted bail by Magistrate on the same day.
