A Pedestrian was killed as a vehicle ran over him while crossing the road at Mahamorawewa on Habarana-Trincomalee Road in the wee hours of this morning.The police have detained the driver of the vehicle regarding the accident.The body of the deceased has been sent to Merigahatenna Hospital for autopsy according to the Police.
