The All Ceylon Canteen Owners Union has today (03) stated that the prices of prepared food available in Hotels and Canteens will be increased due to the 4% increase of Value Added Tax(VAT) which came in to effect from yesterday(02).The Prices of prepared food will be increased as due to the VAT increase the expenditure of prepared food too goes up the Canteen Owners Union has revealed.
