Around 300 to 400 people are feared to be dead due to the landslide occurred yesterday(17) in Aranayake Area in Central Province although the death toll earlier reported is less then that number according to Sri Lanka Red cross Society.Around 150 persons have been rescued from the landslide site at Aranayake Area the Red Cross Society has stated.
All together rescue workers have recovered 19 bodies from the landslide sites in Central Province while 350 people were rescues it has been reported.
