One person was killed and two others got injured and hospitalized this morning due to an Express Train-Three Wheeler Collision occurred at an unprotected Railway Crossing in Gorokgasdeniya,Alawwa(In North Western Province) Area.The Driver of the Three Wheeler and a female and a boy who were in the Three Wheeler were critically injured due to the accident and admitted to the Alawwa Hospital for treatment where the Three Wheeler Driver had succumbed to his injuries.The critically injured female and the boy were later transferred to Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
An Express Train travelling from Colombo to Vavuniya had collided with a Three Wheeler when the Three Wheeler attempted to cross through the unprotected Railway Crossing it has been reported.
