The Minister of Ports and Shipping and former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Arjuna Ranathunge has yesterday (01) requested President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe to dissolve the present Cricket Board and appoint an Interim Committee to administer Sri Lanka's Cricket.This is the best solution for the crisis faced by Sri Lankan Cricket at present Minister Ranathunge has stressed.
If an Interim Cricket Committee has been appointed in view of developing Cricket in Sri Lanka Minister Ranathunge has stated that he will give the leadership to the committee
