Rathgama Police(In Southern Province) have yesterday(12) arrested a 40 year old man who attempted to rape a 9 year old girl at Bussa in Galle District.The girl who manged to escape from the man had complained on the incident to her parents and as a result the residents of the area have handed over the suspected man to the Rathgama Police.
The suspect is due to be produced before Court and Rathagama Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
