President Maithripala Sirisena has removed the Secretary of the Presidential Commission Of Inquiry to Investigate And Inquire Into Serious Acts Of Fraud ,Corruption And Abuse Of Power,State Resources And Privileges Lacille De Silva today(01) with immediate effect.H.W.Gunadasa has been appointed as the new secretary of the Presidential Commission Of Inquiry with effect from today according to Presidential Secretariat.
Earlier in the day the Secretary to the President P.B Abeykoon has sent a letter to Commission Secretary Lacille De Silva on the decision of his removal from the post but not specify a particular reason behind the decision.
