The Police Officers attached to the Toxic Narcotic Flying Squad of Puttalam Division have today(21) arrested a person who manufactured Illicit Liquor by using Gas along with a large stock of Illicit Liquor and manufacturing equipment stored inside of a Illicit Liquor Manufacturing Plant functioning at a House in Mirissankotuwa, Wennappuwa Area .Accordingly Police Officers have arrested a 24 year old suspect along with 8 Barrels containing 6880 Drams of Goda(Locally Made Illicit Liquor),30 Bottles containing 240 Drams of Illicit Liquor,A copper coil,Gas Cooker,Gas Cylinder and a stock of liquor manufacturing equipment according to sources.
Wennappuwa Police is due to produce the 24 year old suspect who is identified as a laborer attached to the Illicit Liquor Manufacturing Plant ,Detained stock of Illicit Liquor and equipment to Marawila District Court.
