The former Chief Executive Officer of the Carlton Sports Network Nishantha Ranathunge who is the fifth suspect remanded over money laundering charges along with former president Mahinda Rajapakshe's second son Yoshitha Rajapakshe and three others has been released on bail today(16) by the Kaduwela Magistrate Court.Ranathunge who is the younger brother of Minister Arjuna Ranathunge was released on cash bail of Rs.100,000 and two personal bails of Rs.1 million each it has been reported.
The other four suspects remanded over money laundering charges have been released on bail on Monday by the Colombo High Court after considering their bail applications and Nishantha Ranathunge was released on bail today due to filing a separate bail application.
