The Police have yesterday (22) arrested Three Persons at a shop in Dambagalle ,Meegahapitiya Area(In Monaragala District) with a fake Rs.5000 Currency Note in their possession.The three suspects have attempted to purchase a Cigarette Packet from a shop in Meegahapitiya Area by producing a fake Rs.5000 Currency Note it has been revealed.After identifying the currency note as a fake one the owner of the shop has informed it to the Police and the Police Officers arrived at the scene have arrested the three suspects with the fake currency note.
The suspects are residents of Bibila Area it has been revealed.
