The Police Narcotic Bureau Officials have yesterday(21)morning arrested a Bangladeshi National who arrived at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port with haul of Heroin weighing 3 Kilo Grammes and 400 Grammes in his possession .The haul of Heroin was concealed inside the luggage of suspected Bangladeshi National who arrived at Katunayake Air Port from Dhaka,Bangladesh according to Police Narcotic Bureau.
The haul of Heroin detained is estimated as worth around Rs.3.5 Million.The suspect has been produced before Negambo Magistrate Court and the Court has given permission to Narcotic Bureau to question further from the suspect under detention orders.
