The Foreign Employment Bureau has today(13) brought back 104 Sri Lankans who went for Kuwait to Sri Lanka due to the various harassment they meted out to them.The group of Sri Lankans brought back from Kuwait had stayed at "Suraksha Home" attached to Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait in past few months due to the harassment they have faced according to reports.
Not receiving employment according to the agreements ,Various kinds of physical harassment and overstaying visa problem are among the reasons for these Sri Lanakns to return to the country the reports said.
The majority of the returnees are females and they are from places like Anuradhapura,Polonnaruwa,Kurunagala,Galle,Trincomalee,Kandy and Batticloe the Foreign Employment Bureau has said.
