Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe has today(09) presented a Resolution to the Parliament to appoint a Constitutional Assembly for the purpose of formulating a new constitution for Sri Lanka.The proposed new constitution will be replaced the current Constitution adapted in 1978 headed by an Executive President.The Constitutional Assembly which formulates the new constitution consist of all members of the Parliament according to Prime Minister.
