A 28 year old Sri Lankan youth has been arrested by Sri Lankan Custom Officers early this morning at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port when he attempted to carry a Rs.2 million worth undeclared local and foreign currency Notes out of the country.
The suspect who resides in Slave Island has been arrested by the Sri Lankan Custom Officers when he trying to board a flight to Dubai with undeclared currency notes concealed inside his baggage around 4.45 a.m this morning.
Inside the suspect's baggage Custom Officers have found US Dollars,United Arab Emirates Dirham and Sri Lankan Rupees worth around Rs.2 million.
