The Ministry Of Rural Economic Affairs has decided to remove 4064 Metric Tonnes of Paddy stored at a Store in Mattala(IIn Southern Province) International Air Port, tomorrow(14).The Mattala International Air Port which is the second international air port in the country built at a cost of US Dollars 201 million granted by China during the previous regime had been used as a temporary paddy storage facility by paddy marketing board after paddy stores in Hambanthota(In Southern Province) have reached full capacity last year and due to non functioning of the Air Port.
