A youth who had jumped from an upper floor of a house at Embilipitiya (In Sabaragamuwa Province) on last Tuesday(04) during a clash occurred at a House in Embilipitiya between Villagers and Police had succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at Embilipitiya Hospital this morning.The youth has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition last Tuesday.
After hearing the news of youth's death a group of angry residents in Embilipitiya Town had conducted Protests and Harthals at the Town today and setting fire to Tires on the road it has been reported.
Meanwhile the Human Rights Commission Of Sri Lanka has decided to inquire the death of the youth immediately .
