Sri Lankan Air Lines Flights to four destinations have been delayed for hours this morning due to the sudden strike action launched by Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port Customs Officers.Sri Lankan Air Lines Flights to London,Singapore,Beijing and Lahore have been delayed due to the strike according to Air Port Sources.This Strike Action has been launched as a protest for the Air Port Authorities decision to check personal luggage and lunch packets brought by Air Port Customs Officers.
However few hours after commencement of the strike action The Air Port Custom Officers has called off the Strike following the discussions held with authorities.
