The Stoning To Death Punishment sentenced to a Sri Lankan Mother by the Saudi Court over an adultery charge has been put in to hold due to the appeal made by Sri Lankan Government to the Court to review the punishment it has been reported.
The Sharia Court in Saudi Arabian Capital Riyadh has earlier sentenced the accused Sri Lankan Mother of three from Colombo to stoning to death over an adultery charge.The man whom she was having an affair with sentenced to 100 lashes for the charge.
The accused female worker has been working as a House Maid at a Home in Riyadh since 2013 and she has been convicted of offence on August 2015.
When the female worker was sentenced to stoning to death punishment her husband living in Colombo want Foreign Employment Bureau to intervene and releasing her.
