One thousand Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed during 2015 due to traffic accidents occurred throughout the country according to the Police.Violation of Traffic Line Laws has caused majority of these accidents the Police have said.
According to the Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekere, 367 Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the fault of Motorcycle Riders violating traffic line laws and 334 Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the other vehicles violating traffic line laws.
Another 299 Motorcycle and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the accidents caused by Motorcycle Riders.
