Bribery Commission Officials Have Arrested A Technical Officer While Accepting a Bribe

The Bribery Commission Officials have today(22) arrested a Technical Officer Attached to Yakkalamulle(In Sothern Province) Divisional Secretariat  while accepting Rs.15,000 as a bribe.

According to the Bribery Commission the suspect has been arrested while accepting the bribe from a Contractor who is carrying out Road Repairs in the area for the  issue of  a report to him.

The suspect is due to be produced before Galle Magistrate Court.
