The Civilians living in a Democratic Society have every right to engage in peaceful protest campaigns as well as the Police and other responsible authorities have every right to take measures to ensure law and order in the country if someone is trying to break the law and order ".According to State Minister of Law and Order and Prison Reforms Thilak Marapana.

During a special statement made today(03) at  Parliament The State Minister of Law And Order And Prison Reforms  has said the National Police Commission is currently conducting a high level investigation on Police Attack over  HNDA Students to see whether the Police Officers had gone  two  extremes when trying to disperse the Student Protest .
