Sri Lankan Navy had detained another 34 Tamil Nadu Fishermen with 7 boats they were in while fishing in Sri Lankan Waters it has been reported today(27).The arrested fishermen belonging to Nagapattinam and Ramanathapuram Districts of Tamil Nadu according to the government.
Due to the frequent arrests of Tamil Nadu Fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy a group of All India Anna Drvida Munnethra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Party law makers have yesterday (26)met Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and demanded the immediate intervention of Indian Government on the issue.
