HIV/AIDS Is Not A Deadly Disease Any More-Dr.Sisira Liyanage

hiv aids සඳහා පින්තුර ප්‍රතිඵලHIV/AIDS is not a deadly disease anymore and a person contacted with the virus can live full life time of a normal person due to the newly invented drugs for HIV/AIDS according to Director Of National Sexually Transmitted Diseases/AIDS Control Programme -Dr.Sisira Liyanage.

"If a person living with HIV/AIDS Virus continue medicines per doctor's advise they can live full life time of a normal person without any difficulty " Dr.Liyanage has stressed.

Speaking on HIV/AIDS Situation in Sri Lanka the Director of National Sexually Transmitted Diseases/AIDS Control Programme has stated the disease has been transmitted here mainly due to the unprotected heterosexual behavior and 95% of the HIV Positives reported this year have contacted the virus due to this.
