The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) has today(01) requested the Minuwangoda Magistrate to drop charges against the first two suspects who are in remand in connection with rape and murder of five year old Seya Sadewmini of Kotadeniyawa as the DNA found in girl's body does not match with these suspects.The DNA Test Reports of the two suspects of the case ,a 17 year old school boy and another resident in kotadeniyawa area have been handed over to the Minuwangoda Magistrate yesterday(01).
The DNA Test Report of the main suspect of girl's murder "Kondaya" who is in remand has not yet issued.
Meanwhile the case filed against the first two suspects of girl's rape and murder is due to be summoned at Minuwangoda Magistrate Court tomorrow(02).
