The Officials of the Bribery Commission have today (08)arrested the brother in law of former chairman of the Wattala Pradeshiya Sabha and his associate who attempted to offer the OIC of Sapugaskande Police Rs.1.5 Million bribe .The two suspects who were arrested at the Car Park of Mahara Prison this morning have attempted to bribe the OIC in a bid to request him to amend the charges leveled against former chairman of Wattala Pradeshiya Shaba who is in police custody regarding the death of a businessman.
The two suspects were arrested by Bribery Commission Officials on a tip off by the Sapugaskande Police OIC.
