Kaduwela-Kadawatha Outer Circular Highway Which Will Connect To Four Expressways To Be Inaugurated On 17th Of September

Kaduwela-Kadawatha Outer Circular Highway

The Motorists will be able to reach Matara(In Southern Province) to Kaduwela(In Colombo) in one and half hours after the outer circular highway from Kaduwela to Kadawatha open on 17th of September.

The 8.9 Kilo Meter outer circular highway is scheduled to be inaugurated by Minister Of University Education And Highways Lakshman Kiriella  and it will be connected to Southern Expressway,Katunayake Expressway ,Colombo-Kandy Expressway and Colombo-Northern Expressway,

The construction work of the Kaduwela-Kadawatha outer circular highway began on 2012 with the cost of Rs.44 billion.The four lane expressway is having six toll plazas and three toll office buildings.It comprises 250 meter long six lane bridge built over Kelaniya River and five overpass bridges .
