Colombo Public Health Department To File Court Cases Against 103 Premises In Colombo City For Breeding Dengue Mosquitoes


The Colombo Public Health Department has decided to file court cases against 103 Premises situated within the Colombo City which have identified as maintaining dengue mosquito breeding places  according to the Chief Medical Officer in Colombo Dr.Ruwan Wijemuni.These premises with dengue mosquito breeding places have been identified  during the first four days of National Mosquito Control Weak commenced on last Thursday(10).

Out of these 103 premises the Colombo Public Health Department has already filed court cases against 48 premises at the Maligakanda(In Colombo) Magistrate Court  and rest to follow during this week Dr.Wijemuni has said.

 Most of the dengue patients in Colombo are reporting from Borella and Eastern Colombo Areas he has stressed.
