The former Defense Secretary and brother of former President Mahinda Rajapakasha, Gotabaya Rajapaksha has arrived this morning at Bandaranaike International Memorial Conference Hall(BMICH) and gave a statement before the Special Presidential Commission of inquire on alleged misuse of properties belonging to Rakna Securities Lanka Limited.The Presidential Commission has requested the former defense secretary to appear before commission before the parliamentary election to record a statement regarding the case.However he avoided appearing before the commission citing his involvement in the election campaign of UPFA.
