The Ophthalmologists are requesting the public to be on alert on an Eye Disease known as "Viral Conjunctivitis"which is spreading in mos parts of the country at present.Redness in Eyes, tearing and Scratching of the eyes are the main symptoms of this disease according to them.A large number of patients suffering from this eye disease are daily receiving treatment through the Colombo Eye Hospital and other government hospital eye clinics throughput the country these days it has been reported.The Ophthalmologists are advising the public to seek medical treatment immediately if someone has shown the symptoms given.
