The General Manger Of State owned ,Bank Of Ceylon D.M Gunasekere has been suspended with immediate effect on charges of misusing power and corruption the Ministry Of Finance has announced today(06).According to the Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake the suspended General Manager was alleged as involved in an opening of a branch of Bank Of Ceylon in one of the fastest growing tax heavens in the world Seychelles Islands in 2011 without a prior permission of Management of the Bank Of Ceylon.The previous government was behind this opening the minister has stressed.
