Health Authorities along with the Security Forces are due to launch a massive three day Dengue Control Programme at Western Province on 20th(Today),21st and 22nd of June to combat dengue menace in the province.around 50 to 60 percent out of the total number of dengue patients reporting throughout the island are from western province according to the statistics.Under this programme Health Officials and Security Officers are due to visit house by house and institutions in the province to inspect the dengue breeding places currently there in.if a dengue breeding place is find it will be destroyed immediately according to the organizers.awareness programmes on dengue too are conducting to the public under this programme.
