President Mahinda Rajapaksha has today (14)nominated former attorney general Mohan Pieris as his nominee for the post of chief justice to the parliamentary council government sources said.parliamentary council is to meet tomorrow(15) to appoint a suitable candidate for the chief justice sources further added.Meanwhile two opposition members representing the council were announced today that they will not participating the council meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow to select a new chief justice.
