The Leader of the National Bhikku Front Venerable Dambara Amila Thero was arrested in Colombo Suburbs by the CID this Morning.According to The Police the Outspoken Monk who announced last week that their Organization will support Common Opposition Candidate Retired General Sarath Fonseka in the forthcoming Presidential Elections was arrested on the Charges leveled against him on Taking money from people to send Manpower Abroad.
However the leftist Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna(JVP) said today that the arrest of Amila Thero is a setback of the Government after he announced his support to General Fonseka.
