Sri Lanka is planning to Import Swine Flu Vaccine to the Country with courtesy from the World Health Organization(WHO) according to the Epidemiology Unit.Officials of Epidemiology Department and the Ministry Of Health are currently holding discussions with WHO in this regard.Ministry Of Health decided to import the Swine Flu Vaccine due to the Deaths Reported from Matara,Kandy and Anuradhapura Districts which were related to the Flu. Even this Vaccine is Imported here it will be given to the High Risk Groups vunerable to Develop Complications after getting Swine Flu such as Pregnant Mothers,and Patients with Heart,Kidney Diabetese and Lung Infectious Diseases.
