Minister Douglas Devananda Seeks The Intervention Of President To Release Unclaimed Deposits

EPDP Leader and Social Services and Social Welfare Minister Douglas Devananda today says that he will seek President Mahinda Rajapaksha's intervention to release Multi Million worth of unclaimed Deposits in State Banks in the North to be used as Soft Loans for people in Agricultural and Industrial Sectors.

Minister Devanada wants to get the details of these unclaimed Deposits from the Central Bank and afterwards seeking an intervention of the President to release these Deposits.Through the proposed Soft Loans  Scheme the People will be able to Invest in Agriculture and Industrial Sectors according to the Minister.
