Two Cuban Epidemiologists arrived Sri Lanka this morning to discuss on Importing BTI Bacteria to the National Dengue Control Programme in the Island.Soon after arrival they begun talks with the Health Ministry Officials on the Technical Matters regarding the using of this Bacteria and left for Hambanthota District in Down South this eve to inspect Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places there.However Kandy,Colombo and Gampaha Districts are identified as most vulnarable areas of spreading Dengue and when comparing to these Districts Hambanthota is less Prevelant Area according to the Epidemeologists.The Two Cuban Epidemeologists Dr.Arminaz Maertinez and Dr.Yellina were due to arrive on last Saturday but due to delay of their Connecting Flight from Paris made them arrive today.
