Rejecting the News Article appeared in the "London Times"last weak stating that around 14,000 Internally Displaced Persons(IDP) in the Sri lankan IDP Camps in Manik Farm are dying weakly due to Diarrheal Diseases Health Ministry Secretary Dr.Athula Kahanda Liyanage and the World Healt Organization(WHO) Representative in Sri Lanka Dr.Firdosi Rustom says that news item was Incorrect and Fabricated one.
Addressing a Press Briefing at the Ministry Of Health yesterday WHO Representative here Dr.Rustom says only 163 IDP'S in the Camps in Vavuniya of Northern Sri Lanka died during the Period of 15th of June to 14 th July and these deaths too occurred due to the Illnesses and Malnutrition they had suffered for years. The Daily Death Rate in these Camps are 5.62 per day.
Therefor the London Times News Article proves to be wrong and they didn't clarify the Facts of the News from any of the Sri Lankan Authorities before publishing it he claimed.
