Nursing Staff of the Only Cancer Hospital of Sri Lanka in Maharagama stop performing Chemo Therapy for the Cancer Patients since yesterday as a protest against undermining their Professional Demands causing the Lives of the Patients in Danger.According to Cancer Hospital Sources more than 500 Indoor and Outdoor Cancer Patients who are receiving Chemo Therapy often undergoing severe hardship due to this trade union action.
Cancer Hospital Nursing Staff who are in charge of performing Chemo Therapy for the Cancer Patients demanding a Safe Equipment for the Nursing Staff for their own safety,An Internationally Recognized Nursing Training Programme on Chemo Therapy and Ten Thousend Rupee Risk Allowance.Cancer Nursing Staff stop performing Chemo Therapy two occasions in last year also.
