The first Swine Flu(H1N1) case of Sri Lanka was reported today as an Eight Year old Sri Lankan boy based in Australia detected as suffering from the Flu on his arrival at the Katunayaka International Air Port in Colombo this evening.The Boy who was accompanied by his Parents arrived Sri Lanka for a vacation on a Singapore via Flight Health Ministry said.Swine Flu affected Boy was transferred Immediately to the Fever Hospital in Angoda-Colombo for further treatment and his parents too were undergoing tests to find out whether they too are suffering from the Swine Flu.
At a special Press Briefing held today at the Health Ministry Auditorium Ministry officials appealed to the People aware on the Swine Flu as it spreads quickly among the Community.
