A Vessel Carrying 884 Metric Tonnes Of Relief Items Is Heading For Sri Lanka Without Permission

A Vessel said to be Carrying 884 Metric Tonnes of Food Medicine and other Humanitarian Relief Items for Displaced Persons in Northern Sri Lanka is heading away to Sri Lanka despite the Local Government says it has not been given the Clearence for the Vessel and Navy put on Alert.

The Ship "Captain Ali" entered to the Red Sea after traveling through the Suez Canal now is said to be Carrying an Essential Supplies for the 300,000 Displaced Persons in the Camps of Northern Sri Lanka.The Ship began it's first leg of Journey from Port Ipswich of United Kingdom on 20th of April.

An Ex Sri Lankan Monitoring Mission(SLMM) Monitor ,Doctors and Humanitarian Workers are traveling with the Humanitarian Relief in board.
