Colombo High Court Indicted Former DIG Vaas Gunawardena And Seven Others

Image result for colombo high courtThe Colombo High Court has today(19) indicted the former Deputy Inspector General Of Police(DIG) Vaas Gunawardena who is in remand and seven other persons over an assault on a student in 2009.

The former DIG Gunawardena has been accused on abduction  and assault of a student at Sri Lanka Institute Of Information Technology(SLIIT) in Colombo in 2009 .

A 18 Year Old School Girl Had Committed Suicide At Her House In Anuradhapura

Image result for suicide by wordA 18 year old School Girl had committed suicide by hanging in the house at Parasangaswewa Area in Anuradhapura(North Central Province) according to the Anuradhapura Police.

The cause of the death has not yet been revealed the Police have stated.The body of the deceased has sent to the Anuradhapura General Hospital and the Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.

Parents Have Committed Suicide After Their Children Had Drowned In The Sea At Pasikudah

Image result for suicide by wordA day after their two sons of the ages 18 and 20 years had drowned in the sea area of Pasikudah(In  Batticaloa)Mother and the Father of the drowned youngsters had commited suicide this morning by hanging from a tree near their house according to the Police.

The sons of the deceased parents had drowned in the sea yesterday(18) while swimming it has been reported.The body of a one of the youths was found today and search operations are underway to find other youth the Police have stated.
