The Special Police Task Force personal had managed to rescue two children held as hostages by their own father due to a personal disoute arisen between parents of the children at Government Employees,Housing scheme in Hanwella(Colombo) last morning (05) after a nine hout long mission .
The father of the children who entered the house with a hand grenade to kill his wife had taken his own children as hostages it has been revealed.The Special Police Task Force Personal arrested the suspect after resucuing the two children and locked the hand grenade in posssession of the suspect whoch has unlocked according to police.
