Prime Minister Has Stated Corona Virus Is The Only Enamy Government Has Now

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe

has stated today (07)that the only enamy the government has now is none other then corona virus and will use full resources to defeat this enamy even the income sources of government are being blocked.

Delivering a special speech to the nation on the current crisis Prime Minister has stressed that all.political party leaders in the country had pledged their support to the government at this stage .

People should  Unite  by putting up their differences at this stage to combat against corona virus he had stated  .

Seven New Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported Today (07)

Seven new Corona virus infected

persons had been reported from Sri Lanka within today  (07)until 10 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona virus positives reported in the country to 185 according to Epidemeology Unit.

At present 137 corona virus positives are being treated at 31 government Hospitals according to the sources .

Fourty two positives had been discharged from Hospitals after full recovery. Six  deaths had been reported from Sri LANKA the sources have added.

The Sixth Corona Virus Death Reported From Sri Lanka -Four Positives Recovered And Discharged

A 80 year old resident of Dehiwala area

has died this morning (07)due to the corona virus infection whilst receiving treatment at Infectious Diseases Hospital in Angoda according to the Health Ministry. 

With the latest death the total number of Corona virus deaths in the country  had been increased to 06 .

The deceased is the oldest person to be died from the infection  in Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile Four corona virus infected persons had recovered and discharged from Hospitals today increasing the total number of patients discharged so far to 42 .

Another two Corona virus positives too had been identified this morning and now the total number of Corona virus positives in the country increased to 180 .
