Airbus Deal- Former Sri Lankan Airlines CEO.Kapila Chandrasena And His Wife Had Been Furher Remanded
Former Chief Executive Officer of Sri
Lankan Airlines Kapila Chandrasena and his wife Priyanka Niyomali Wijenayake who had been remanded until today (19)had been further remanded Untill 04 th of March by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today (19).
The two suspects who had been arrested by Criminal Invesrigatons Department (CID)on 06 th of february over the charges of receiving US Dollars 2 million as a bribe during an Airbus purchasing deal .
The two suspects had been produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today .

Seven. Students Drowned -Four Of Them Died Whilst Bathing at Madawachchiya Wewa
Seven students attached to a school at
Hali-Ela area in Badulla had been drowned whilst bathing in Madawachchiya Wewa (River) at Gomarankadawala ,Trincomalee this evening(19) and four of them pronounced as dead by the police .
Three of the drowned students who were on an educational tour at Gomarankadawala area had rescued.
The rescued students had been admitted to Gomarankadawala Hospital for treatment.
Hali-Ela area in Badulla had been drowned whilst bathing in Madawachchiya Wewa (River) at Gomarankadawala ,Trincomalee this evening(19) and four of them pronounced as dead by the police .

Education Ministry Had Suspended The Transferes Of National School Teachers
Ministry Of Education has decided to
suspend all the transfers of teachers attached to National.schools until further notice according to a request made by a number of National School principals.
National School principals had requested the Education Ministry to suspend all transfers of their school teachers during mid term as it might cause inconvenience to the learing process of children.
Meanwhile Education Ministry has decided to introduce an app for teachers transfers in national schools according to the Ministry.
