Four Youth Had Been Sentenced To Death Over Killing Of A Person In 2007
Colombo High Court has today
(07)sentenced four youths to death who found guilty over killing of a person by attacking him from poles and sharp objects on 02 nd of December 2007 at Grand pass area.
Five Persons had been arrested by the police over killing of Steven chandran in 2007 athe Grand pass and later remanded them.
Legal cases were filed against all of them and One of the suspects had been released from all charges .Colombo High Court Judge Vikum KaluArachchi has delivered the verdict.

President Requested Foreign Ambassadors To Lift Travel Restrictions Imposed On Sri Lanka
President Maithripala Sirisena has
today (07)requested the Ambassadors,High Commissioners and Foreign Services representatives including United Nations to lift the travel restrictions imposed by foreign government's over their citizen's when travelling Sri Lanka after the Easter Sunday bombings , As the national security of the country has been restored .
President has made this request during a meeting held with Foreign representatives at President's office today .
Due to the susscessful operations launched by the forces against the Terrorists ,Sri Lanka will be able to elaminate the Terrorism in next few days President has stated

Court Granted Permission To Question Four Suspects Including A Municipal.Councilor Under Detention Order Over Supporting ISIS
Colombo Chief Magistrate has today
(07)granted permission to Welikada Police to question 04 suspects including Kotte ,Sri Jayawardanapura Municipal Councilor Mohideen Al US man and his brother taken in to custody over spreading information in favour of ISIS Terrorist Organization, under 90 day detention order .
Welikada Police have requested the Magistrate to grant permission to question the suspects under detention order .
Accordingly Police will be able to question the suspects under the provisions of Terrorism prevention act .
