Five Persons Injured Due To A Bus Accident
Five persons including two students were injured and hospitalized after a Bus veering off the road and crashed into a nearby shop on Puttalam-Eluwankula road this morning(23).The injured were admitted to the Puttalam Base Hospital for treatment.
The Bus was traveling to Puttalam from Karathivu area when it met with the accident.
A Person Was Killed And Several Others Missing Due To A Sand Mount Collapse In Mawanella
A person was severely injured and hospitalized and several others reported as trapped after a sand mount of a Construction Site in Mawanella area collapsed on them this morning(23).The injured was admitted to the Mawanella Hospital.
Police and the residents of the area are currently engaging in a rescue operation by using backo machines to save the lives of those trapped inside the debris of the site it has been reported.

two persons with 327 Kilos and 994 grammes of Kerala Cannabis in their possession in Kelanimulle area,Angoda today (22).
The two suspects had been handed over to the Police Nacotic Bureau for future course of action the special police task force personal have stated.
