Three Persons Were Injured And Hospitalized As A CTB Bus Collided With Eight Other Vehicles At Awissawella
Three Persons were injured and hospitalized due to a CTB(Ceylon Transport Board) Bus colliding with eight vehicles this morning at the Awissawella(In Western Province) Town this morning according to the Police.
Three Injured Persons were admitted to the Awissawella Base Hospital for treatment following the accident.A severe Traffic Jam had been reported on Colombo-Awissawella main road due to the accident it has been reported.
Due to the Break Failure the CTB Bus had collided with eight other vehicles on the road the Police have stated.

Sri Lankan Cricketer Kusal Janith Has Been Banned For Four Years By The International Cricket Council
Sri Lankan Cricketer Kusal Janith Perera has been banned today(11) by playing cricket matches for four years by the International Cricket Council(ICC) for using banned steroid substance.
Kusal Janith who had failed a doping test conducted in Sri Lanka few months ago during the home series against Pakistani Cricket Team has found positive for using banned substance during the second sample(B Sample) also according to Sri Lanka's Minister Of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekere.
The Sports Minister has stated the Government will appeal the ICC to reduce the suspension

Government Has Declared This Friday(15) As A Special Government Holiday
The Government has declared this Friday(15) as a special Government Holiday a day after the traditional Sinhala and Hindu New Year Festival.
The Sinhala and Hindu New Year falls on this Thursday(14) and both that day and the day prior (13th of April-Wednesday) are government,bank and mercantile holidays here.
The special holiday on this Friday has been declared with the approval of both President and Prime Minister according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
