Government To Cut The Money Allocated For Ministry Of Health In View Of Bearing The Extra Expenditure Need To Implement Budget Proposals
Government has decided to reduce the Money allocated to Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine through the Annual Budget-2016 to bear the extra cost need to implement the amendments done to Budget.
The Money allocated for the Government's Digital Programme and Fuel And Transport Expenditure too will be managed in view of bearing the extra expenditure the Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake has informed the Parliament.
Government has decided to make some amendments to the Annual Budget-2016 including adding the Rs.10,000 Allowance provided for State Sector Employees in three stages and Reducing the increased Vehicle Emission Test Fee following the protests of Several Trade Unions.

Six Indian Fishermen Have Been Arrested While Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters
Sri Lankan Navy have arrested Six Indian Fishermen along with the Boat they were travelling in on Saturday Night while fishing in Sri Lankan Waters according to the sources.
These Fishermen who came from Jegathapattinam Village in Pudukottai District of India have been arrested while fishing in Neduntheevu (In Northern Province) Sri Lanka sources have said.
The arrested Fishermen and their boat were later brought to Kankasanthurai(Northern Sri Lanka).
