A Sixteen Hour Long Water Cut To Be Implemented In Colombo

 A sixteen hour long water cut is scheduled to be implemented in five divisions of Colombo Municipal Council  limits from 5 p.m tomorrow evening (09) according to the National Wster Supplies and Drainage Board .

Accordingly this water cut is scheduled to be implemented in Colombo divisions 11,12,13,14 and 15    from 5 p.m tomorrow evening until 9 a.m On this Sunday(10)  due to an urgent maintainance work  being carried out under the energy conservation project to improve the water supply in ambathale water purification plant the Board has,announced .

A Private Bus Driver Was Sentenced To 12 Year Imprisonment

 The Colombo High Court had sentenced  the Private Bus  driver who was found guilty of fataly running over three persons in  2007 to 12 years of Rigorous imprisonment today(06).
